ï¼·hat is the differnece between Horizontal Ring Die and Vertical Ring Die Pellet MIll?
1. horizontal ring die pellet mill
a. special for the animal feed, but after modification, it indeed can used for the pellet fuel. But the output density does not as good as vertical ring die. Because lower density will effect the heating value.
b. when running, the rollers static and the ring die is rotating all the time, so the output pellet with short length because when mould rotating, it will throw off the output pellet, that is why it is special for animal feed.
c. ring die with 10 rows of holes, when running, all these 10 rows of holes are working at the same time, that means the pellet mill is full loading when running to achieve the aiming capacity. In that case, the life time for wearing parts will be shorter than ever. So only half lifetime of the horizontal ring die compare with the vertcial ring die, and the roller and bearing already broken for long time of full loading running. The reason is horizontal ring die pellet mill is designed for animal feed with soft fodder, but after modification for pellet fuel, it beyond the struggle.
d. if you are willing to produce poultry or livestock feed, we suggest you the horizontal ring die pellet mill.
2. vertical ring die pellet machine
a. when running, the ring die is static while the rollers are rotating and output pellet length is adjustable by the marketing requirement. We just adjust the cut device to change the length of the pellet output is ok.
b. And the ring die with 10 rows of holes, when running, only 5 rows of holes are working at the same time, that means half loading can finish the aiming capacity. After long times of runing and wearing parts abrasing, we just change the direction of the mould and use the nexting 5 rows. So the lifetime of the mould will be doubled. And the desity of pellet fule will be around 1-1.3 tons/CBM.
c. vertical ring die pellet mill is fully automatic lubricating system, the most suitable device for making biomass pellet.
